The NRSB would like to announce some new and exciting information regarding exams, certification fees, continuing education credits and applications. Most changes will take effect January 2022.
NRSB exams will be offered online!
The NRSB is in the final stages of digitizing all of our exams (RMT, RMS and RRS). This new online exam will be administered by a live virtual proctor. The cost of the exams will be $120 which includes the live virtual proctor. You may take the exam in the comfort of your own home or anywhere you have WiFi service, at any time. We will send another email as well as posting it to our website when this is available!
Continuing Education (CE) Credit Update
If you have been certified by NRSB for 10 YEARS OR MORE your CE credit obligation will be cut in half.
Radon Measurement & Mitigation Specialist:
4 CEs for a 1 year renewal OR 8 CEs for a 2 year renewal
Radon Measurement Technician:
2 CEs for a 1 year renewal OR 4 CEs for a 2 year renewal
This is only for professionals certified with NRSB for 10 years or more.

Application Revisions
We have revised our existing NRSB applications for RMS, RMT and RRS. There are now initial and renewal forms for each. Please ensure you download and complete the new applications from the renewal email we send out or online on our “Application Library” page: https://nrsb.org/for-professionals/application-library/
